We are always looking for talented students interested in AI- and robotics-driven scientific discovery. Apply to the Materials Science and Metallurgy PhD by the December departmental deadline for funding consideration.
We have a fully funded PhD position available for Lent (January) or Michaelmas (October) 2027 entry (open to applicants eligible for UK Home fee status).
We welcome Master's project enquiries, especially from students in Advanced Materials for the Energy Transition (AMET).
Current Cambridge undergraduates in Part IB or Part II can join as summer students, and students interested in Part III projects are welcome to get in touch.
